Favorite Thing about Climbing

It changes. I love being alone bouldering. I love being alone, 100 feet out from the belay. I also like being with a group of close friends working a problem. I love the trust you put in one another on a trad route.

I love being a part of nature

I love the physical challenge.

Not much I don't like except loud mouth blowhards and environmentally irresponsible people.

Favorite Destination
Tough one, Gunks I guess because that is where I learned.
Favorite Climbing Memory
Early in my climbing, I was on a road trip to, Seneca, New River, Red River. We were at Seneca and without a guidebook and a light rain was starting to fall. My partner and I looked at a line, thought it looked doable and beautiful and proceeded to climb an amazing route to the summit. Later we found out it was a Soler route. It seems that anything with the Soler, or Conn name is usually 4 stars. Not knowing what you are getting on adds so much to the adventure.
