Favorite Climbing Memory

Joshua Tree National Park, CA "Real Hidden Valley" an unmarked Fist crack dihedral Trad route. Making it all the way to the top of the belay shelf where the top half of my body was on the shelf but just didn't have the energy within to finish the route (3 more feet).

Another was at Devil's Head State Park, CO on the Headstone "chickenhead" Trad route. We were starting the second pitch about 100 feet up and it started hailing buckshot size hail on us. It snowed the entire hike up to the fire look out, cleared up, then started hailing. An epic adventure!!
