A period of my life was dedicated to solving personal problems very independently but with a crucial small group of friends who never let me down. Climbing is the best replication of those struggles that you impose on your self, for yourself, but with a small team who will catch you if need be. No feeling to me is more worth embracing than overcoming a struggle that could simply have been avoided but was instead hit head on.
