About Me

DJ,
I have been reading up on the Disabled Veterans sports project-Great work! I printed out some articles on the event at Sportrock for Dave, Obe, and the other staff to read. Dave is very excited at the idea of having this event in the gym and looking forward to your email and information on what he needs to do to help it happen. Please also feel free to call him at home or at TRC.

I am also looking forward to this and other events-I really enjoyed my rotations at the Veterans hospital in New Haven and Gaylord Rehab in Ct. Did I tell you I can sign? I'm very rusty, but before I was a PA I worked with the Deaf-Blind as a job placement counselor. I particularly remember one client who was a vet and had lost one arm, eyesight, and most of his hearing (he was holding a grenade). The fact that I wasn't able to find him a job had to do not with those problems but the brain damage he had sustained that interfered with his social skills.
Hope to be talking soon.

Hey I don't remember adding you as a friend...but I must have! I'm Brittany, I'm from Vienna--at school in PA and I'm getting into climbing. Just wanted to say hey and meet other cool climbing people for when I get home in May. Have a good weekend!
