Welcome Back!

I love the music on your site!

There's still ice around? I was unaware of that :) When there's ice around I climb it. What's your favorite playground.

Love the Needles,Rushmore area and camping at Sylvan Lake boulders area. Been a long time since I got out that way though. Have skipped right by on the way to Tower or Tetons. A shame.

Every time I'm there, it rains. I've tried climbing in the Needles, around Mt. Rushmore, but no dice' too wet. March through may seem to be the rainy season. However, when Gonzobeer gets here, maybe we'll take a couple of days to head that way.
Cheers!

I'm a traddie mostly, I quit climbing sport cuz I can't do any of the routes :) 'Bout you?

Nice black and white photo work. So you must call Devils Tower your 'local' craig?

IF I'm not mistaken, you're the first South Dakotaite here, I could very well be wrong though. anyhoo nice to meetcha fron kentucky!

Favorite Climbing Memory
hmmmm...There are so many!! I have ton of great climbing friends. The memory that comes to mind first is an afternoon I went out with my friend Will Buckman, we climbed a route called Royal Flush. It was an awesome climb very challenging, fun, traditional route. Me, being blonde, I left behind the nut tool and I came to a place in the route where BJ had made a great placement, so great the nut didn't want to budge out of that place. placement. I worked it for awhile, but to no avail, the nut would not budge! At that point I thought to myself I have to do something to get it out, can't leave a trace you know, and I remembered my pocket knife was in my pocket, handy. So I carefully dug it out and worked the nut out of its grand placement! MacGuyver, thats my other name! Then we got to the top, the guide book said that there was a walk off. Not really, I think the author might have been joking. So we carefully, spotting one another, climbed down the back side of the route. It was an interesting day, but tons of fun Thanks Will!
