I was thinking of going to lincoln this weekend. My local buds have informed me that the ice is shit as of late. with this storm maybe it will change. My climbing partners are all out of town if u are going to be their let me know. Otherwise its solo the shit I know. Dont know if I told ya I Lived in Placer Valley for ten years. Lincoln was my playground!!!!!!!

Northstar is the mountain off of Hoosier pass. So if you were hiking up Quandry and looked south you would be looking right at the climb. Its above the lake. This climb has no water source. It is only climbable till about Thanksgiving. It forms from run off only. I will let you know how the climb is Tuesday. I have class Monday night in Breck and shift Tuesday. So I plan on meeting my buddy about 1:00. We wont go if they get a ton of snow. It sounds like the storm is an upslope so we will see.

Hey another area you may want to check out is above Blue lakes Monte Cristo. A nice climb is coming in. This on the north side of Northstar mountain. Northstar is just south of Quandry. Its in now. I was helping teach a rock class for Colorado mtn college and it looked pretty good. To get up to it follow the crack on the right side just bellow the climb. Bolts are up there to get down. the bolts are part of a muti pitch bolted climb

I Drove by Lincoln yesterday. I might go up next Tuesday. It will be climbable by next week. Bowling alley only

Ohhh, colorado rocks sooooo great. I love the Springs up to Ft. Collins area(skip Denver please) and over to Estes. Many nice years spent out there.
