Sutatausa, , Colombia
Description
88 kilometers away from bogota, paved road all the way. nice weather. with a long prehispanic history this 10 or 12 kilometer sandstone wall is full of potential, development is kind of slow (few colombian climbers have drills). and access a bit long (rappeling or 45 min hike on 60 to 70 degree slopes). but boulderers ha a lifetime worth of problems, huge, small, traverses, slabs, overhangs, aretes, etc. the bouldering is really diverse and the rock cant get any more solid than this (grey concrete looking and grainy textured.) one of my favorite places, you can go camp onthe foothill below the wall, tha native vegetation the birds, the indian paintings, so many blocks scattered for as far as you can see....hufff!!! sutatausa is definitely a hot climbing destination!!!! contact me: mandrill24@yahoo.com.ar
