Directions Description Awesome trad climbing in WV. Tons of climbs, lots of different ratings. Rating are stiff here. Most 5.9's were set and rated when 5.9 was as high as the ratings went. super quality climbing. Not too bad of an approach. If you have walked up the steps to the gunks, its kinda like that but about 4 times as many steps. Food is close by. Camping ranges from 5-10 bucks a night with running water, showers, local place to eat and fill up on gear and food. Princess Snowbird is the campsite of choice in my opinion. All trad climbing. Nice stream for after session cool offs. Friendly people, sometimes live music, local gear shop. Gas station has incredible $2 ham sandwiches. |
