The Pinnacle Practice Wall parking area lies 0.1 miles up from the Army Demonstration Area. Park across from a stone bridge and follow the obvious trail. The Pinnacle Practice Wall has lost any bolts that were there, but still makes a great area for Top roping and working on problems and experiencing granite. Biggest draw back a 4Th class scramble is required to get to top of cliff to set up Top Rope (off of Trees), be sure to have runners ranging from 20-30 ft. Routes include the Roof route (5.9+), Aid Crack (5.10a), New Face Route (5.11b), The bolt route (5.11d/5.12a), Over the Arch (5.10a/b), Dihedral Route (5.8), Bolted (5.9), the Arete Route (5.11). So as you can see there is a wide variety of routes in a close area, the scenery, the location, and the fact you can work so much technique here is makes it a gem.
