any 'bangers out there who can interpret the graf'?
badash says:
Hm..... no idea what that one was about but there were some really really talented people doing this stuff... maybe not in this picture but if you are there you can tell. Theres some sweet stencils too...
woodchuck07 says:
Meanwhile, how is your 'art sale' going so far?
badash says:
Hm... i had a lot of people SAY they wanted one and i put them on a list but nobody has really come forward and met up with me. I think i sold 2....
woodchuck07 says:
I've still got the 3 samples you sent via e-mail to consider. Hmmmm, Christmas shopping is coming around soon so I'll let you know.
badash says:
kayyyyyy
woodchuck07 says:
This shot almost looks like a split screen photo. So who superglued the holds up there?
climbingbum says:
Are those holds in the cement?
gonzobeer says:
Can't really interpret the art of tagging Woody. That's someones signature that we see.Licentia Haud Vestigium
woodchuck07 says:
That's what I mean. Why I asked if the 'bangers would mind identifying themselves more clearly on their signed works. Colorful, useless art it remains.

You should glue on some holds and then bolt the arete...looks like a good line to be had.

woodchuck07 says:
I'm guessing those are all glue ons anyway..
dbrayack says:
Ash, you should set up a rappel line and shoot it looking down (unless you can get a ladder.) Notice you over exposed the sky + the power lines are always a major distraction...I'm guessing there's concrete below that? If so, I'd get some colored chalk, draw some cool designs, set up the composite and shoot it. Oh...and wait for a cloudy day.

badash says:
YEAH for sure... i was going to do that next time.... I already went to the top to check it out... and i was planning to draw something trippy at the bottom...... oh and i think it'd be cool to put more holds on there -- i have no idea who did the other ones!?
gonzobeer says:
It was me!

Tough to rap'down and carry a full bag of new holds while mixing the quickset 30 second epoxy for each one. Let alone to scrape/clean off the concrete for good adhesion. You need a cohort in crime to do this...
Rickman says:
Hey ashley, glad to see someone is still enjoying the fruit of the NashBrigade's work. This bridge was first developed back in 1990. The rocks were glued using PC-7 epoxy and duct tape - watch out for falling rock when the train goes by.
woodchuck07 says:
that's good epoxy from the looks of the holds staying power.
badash says:
haha HEY RICKMAN!!! this guy is the creator of this, before a climbing gym was in Nashville. SUPER OLD SCHOOL, it was cool to know the history from this. Thanks rickman!
