Two ropes get HEAVY

Another view from a previous post with more upward progress. You need two ropes to get down so I opted to lead with both. I know I should have brought a tag line but I didn't get one for one route. So with a full rack and pitches over 100 ft I was pretty happy to reach each belay stance.

Could the person that followed you bring it up with them?

Well the logic is if the second carries it they carry the entire weight all the time. If the leader carries it he only carries part of the weight until he reaches the top of the pitch. Also, the leader is leaving gear (these pitches are over 150 feet) so is losing weight as he goes up but the second is picking up gear and getting heavier as she goes up. AND igottagetoutside was also on her first really big wall. She had enough to worry about.

That makes sense.
