holy crap, thats sweet! that rock looks like you could get some nice friction on it... and that it could tear you up! is that 'gritstone'? Just saw 'hard grit' a coupla weeks ago, bout peed my pants when the guy took the whipper and broke his leg.

Hard Grit is good! it gets rewound and played many times over in my house! :)

yeah, those are hands of 'gritstone'. Joe Brown and Don Whillens mauled their hands on that kind of rock for decades, sending unbelievably hard routes for the time.

Flat cap and pipe is all the climbing gear they had with abit of rope tied round the waist! :S
