Hey Capt. Stat: I just realized this photo was NOT at the Lode from Saturday. How or where did you find out all the hot spots for watching the stars climb each day? Who was at Bob Marley Thurs.? Was a clinic held there on Friday? That was the one thing I wish they were a bit more informative on....who had what clinic and Where, on Friday. It was a well kept secret until moments before the groups headed off at 10AM.
Anyway, as far as those camera guys go, I'd need a 2 qt. pee bag up there for the number of hours they spent airborne on Saturday. Look forward to some massive movie out highlighting all the spots they set up and filmed.
Someone on RRC.com had a similar comment about wishing they knew where the clinics were going to be except from the standpoint of knowing that would not be a good place to climb that day. It was not executive priviledge that clued me in on what was going on at Bob Marley but just talking to Mike Doyle who I had traded e-mails with and finally got to meet Thursday night before the event. Stay tuned for my next blog that will be about what was happening at Bob Marley on Friday. Also, some of the video from RocTrip, along with the Petzl athlete blogs, are up on the Petzl Team website - http://www.petzlteam.com/ _____________________________________________________________________ Support the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition.
