We have a nice Rock Creek nearby too, but they kicked out climbers there, in a state park, back in '83. It's Nazi Illinois, that's why. No fun allowed in northern part of the state.

my Rock creek was the closest( 25min.) rocks for me..otherwise it's 200 miles north or 330 south. sucks.

Was a poor dirtbag climber with no job for like 6 years, then got working and pretty soon ended up respectable and non-climbing. Now back to dirt poor and hope to return to heavy climbing schedule once again in latter years of life.
