It wasn't the snow on the ground causing the cold, so much as walking through the iceberg-ridden Cache La Poudre river that the approach requires. You can also see a little bit of that towards the bottom right-hand corner.

aaah! Cache La Poudre means wetsuit time for kayaking these days! Either way it looks so much sweeter there than it does from any view here in Illinois right now. Vegas, Red Rocks in 3 days! can't wait!
