I totally dig the old school pix. the mullet is sweet but the Bicylce shorts are sweeter, I love the neon green. The shorts are Ultra Sexy.

Shorts were design requested by Tommy Thayer( 85'Bears) and custom made for his Super Bowl teammates and I got lucky and snatched up the last extra pair waaay back when. I never recall that hair being called a 'mullet' back then. Only in last 10 years have I heard that used so much. But that hair also dates that indoor wall, since they were pretty rare back in mid 80's.

I always new the hair cut as Hockey head..but I am Canadian. Now the shorts rock even more. I so do not miss the 80's.

I never got into the whole 'lycra' sports climbing fashion that was Euro popular. But the lycra bike shorts were so perfect for climbs back then. Massive gut nowdays means I cover up as much as I can for climbs today;'(

I'm allergic to lycra. So I can't induldge in my Euro Trashiness. And Damn it I am euro trash.

Cool pic, nice move, sweet clothes - just one thing puzzling me here - how high?.... You don't appear to be roped up/wearing a harness.... or am I just being stupid?....

The roof move is about 18 ft. off the deck but there is a foam pole vault pit below to crash into. Was a great indoor place to climb 15 years ago.

Paul says:

Aaah, that'd explain it then, thanx.
- sounds like fun. I don't suppose you'd see that in many places these days though.

every route was like 5.11 or harder cuz there were so few maker of good climbing holds then. Jugs didn't exist very much for big roofs and all. I swear the face climb had nothing bigger than a centimeter in depth for a hold. Finger and tendon hurtin' kind of a place, yes it was.
