Jer Collins on Door Prize (12a), Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, AR. DD, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the route name is correct. Very thin vertical moves coupled with a blunt arete down low, lead to easier but technical terrain up high.

doubleD says:
yes Andy, the route is Door Prize and involves laybacking the arete down low with feet and right hand on what appears to be nothing (do us mortals).

That is such a cool photo!! You even got him to wear the right color shirt. 8^)

somebody cut the trees down so we can see the route!! Looks like you caught the only 'viewing window of opportunity' to see him on route.

Steve, I took about 30 shots of him on this route from a boulder about 40 yards away. This one worked. And yes, he had a gray shirt on till I made him change into his red undershirt.
doubleD says:
Yeah Andy told me my grey shirt just wasn't the right shirt to wear that day. But it was a new shirt and was perfect for the weather, just not for pictures. My undershirt was also grey and if I went below that I had just pasty old man skin and grey hair :)
woodchuck07 says:
hey, grey is a nice fall color!

I'm liking this photo more each day I see it up on front page. Just wonder how he would have looked in a hunters camo shirt and pants. Imagine that. (with Badash' in tie dye on the route right next to him) Now THAT would be a spectacular comparison.
