You're right about that,,,it's almost part of it. I remember old photos posted a year ago when it was a bright color shirt. That's the problem with home made tie dye. Fades out.
I tie dye my boxer-briefs and am good at making letters and hearts. I do not have parties though because peolple are not really into my underwear (well most people anyways).
P.S. - Badash, I don't know what kind of dye you use but Procion and Greatful dye is bye far the best I've used. Greatful for blues and purples and Procion for everything else. I use soda ash and dye thickeners, works out like a champ for me.
yeah, they had the soda ash thing for a presoak in the kit I had, but seemed that the satin material of the wedding dress is immune to some of the chemicals and dyes. I'll try harder on this next one.
Hmmmm i will look into that. And yeah I do have a lucky one for climbing - actually 2 or 3 - but when i dont do laundry for a while i go through all of my shirts..... But yeah everything is startign to fade sooooo sometime near the end of the month i will have another party, and i will have new ones for you guys. Sorry to bore you, haha.
Oh yeah, Jimn, You can dye your boxers at my party!!! People have brought over underwear before, its nothing new. ;)
Want another blank white wedding dress to dye up on your own?? Just joking!! You probably don't know what to do with the first one....Glad you will be creating some new dye' art to display.
Badash - Thank you for the offer, however I thinks it wouldn't be cost effective for me to drive to the South from Denver to do that.
If I lived closer I would go, we could swap dying tips and it would be fun.
You should really look into Procian and Greatful dyes. They are fiber reactive dyes when used with the soda ash and THEY DO NOT FADE. What you see is what you get until the shirt starts deteriorating. My underpants wear holes in them and need to be replaced long before there is any sign of fading, oh wait too much information.

You know, that shirt is fading alot. Needs a fresh load of colors so it doesn't start to look 'camo on the routes.

I think the shirt fits in well with the rock color.
