Devils Tower

Is that the north or west face area? Gotta get out the old guidebook or photos to ID routes. What did you climb for that first trip out?

I'm pretty sure its the west face area. Did Durance (of course!) hardest 5.6 I've ever done! looking forward to getting back there.

agree. it so does look like someone physically cut and pasted the photo right on top of a post card.

Thanks, for the postcard comment. The picture was taken with a Kodak digital on "backlight" setting. If you have a camera with that setting it will give you the fill flash that makes these kind of photo possible.

I have it, but never used it. Seems to have bleached out the rock colors though..
