how did I miss this photo earlier? another nice effect with your colorful self amidst the blurred black and white background. I'm sure alot of us started as tree climbers as kids before we found our way to the cliffs. Tree forts, swings, ropes to slide down, wood steps nailed into the trunk, etc. Kids and trees blend well.
I'm surrounded by only Maple and Oak forests. Plenty of friction but too big of trees to shimmy up. Ice axes or loop a rope over a low branch is all I can do.
man howd i miss all this talk? i was doing what you call climbing on real rock. actually, was this all on saturday? if so, i was working at the climbing gym.... and Spudz, I was not meaning literally NEW… I just meant it’s a whole DIFFERENT type of climbing. And yes, they should have a tree climbing album. I have some amazing pics. I might post them anyways later today or tomorrow.

In fact, if we have a 'jumping climbers' and 'slackliners' photo page, why not a 'tree climbers' section too? Seems natural.
Bex says:
I think we should have a tree climbing page. I have some good ones (with full lumber jack gear).
woodchuck07 says:
Hey Bex, that's AID climbing!! We want 'free tree' here. Although I did climb a tree once in ice gear out of desperation one winter.
Bex says:
But I'm in my sexy orange lumber jack gear. Fine I'll shimmy up a tree for y'all
woodchuck07 says:
I've never seen sexy lowcut orange lumberjack gear or hot shorts to go with. Convince me. Post. Shimmy that tree in the coolest outfit you can find.
Bex says:
Shimmy I will Ican't go in too short of shorts Maple Bark Hurts and Beach is too smooth to climb.
