Most likely you've met Beastie. He is a the ultimate crag dog. He's not my dog; I was just humbled to be in his presence. His "owner" (though quite submissive) is Jeff Hamlin based out of Flagstaff, and together they travel the world - or at least day-drive trips to Nevada, Utah, California, Arizona, idaho whereever smells good. Beastie prefers to climb slabs and more moderate approaches, but don't get me wrong, he will bust past your ass down the trail as fast as a kevin wilkinson bending forks ay. Did I mention that Beastie's favorite hobby is finding the most yoga-like twisted and knotted up position to rest his head? We think he probably gets head-pumped carryin' around that noggin all day long. It is a pretty long piece of neck meat. Anyways, sooner or later as you are trying to redpoint that proj or make that next move and a handsome spotted dalmatian walks up, just look eeentooo heez eyezzz. You do it next go fer sure. But ya gotta still give the dog a bone.
