Hey guys! That posses an interesting question........is training at the gym better than training outdoors?

What do you think?

Climbing outside is always better. The only reason to climb in a gym is if you can't climb outside all the time. The other advantage to a gym is the possibility of replicating a move that might be shutting you down on a route. You could do the move or sequence of moves over and over again until you feel solid. I've known climbers that have done that.

Well PEEPS, that is true for us Floridians, no real rock to climb on and working on that move that stumps you. Lukily ther's a comp at my gym this weekend so all the old routes are coming down and we get a whole new set of problems.

I find I loose interest in a route after a while, if it were outside, I'd send it for sure. Indoors....not so much.

I think I see a move in the next couple years. We'll see where the wind takes me.
