RockRatz, Hope all are off to a great start to a new year! Climbing season is just around the corner sure all are chopping at the bit to get out to some warm crag’s, but of late seems the ice climbers have had some good weather. I know AKC and FF113 have been at it hard as their photos have been showing.
Some info for all; the RockRatz have finished the deal with the Southeastern YMCA here in Colorado Springs, and we had our grand opening of the wall there on the 18th of January and it was a great success. The RockRatz are currently volunteering on Tuesdays and Friday nights from 4-7pm we are averaging 25 climbers a night. We are introducing this wonderful sport to many kids and even getting some mom and dads on the wall. So if your in the neighborhood come on down. Would like to thank Vegas, climbingwall, socialbutterfly, bergherd, and a special appearance from the Team Captain of Mad Rock who came out and supported and helped out during the opening.
As you may have heard from RockRats we have taken the next step and gone live- the Colorado Springs RockRatz are a full fledge guide service now and we are stoked for what lays ahead, so I thank all of you for your support, ideas, and friendship so check out our new look at www.ColoradoSpringsRockRatz.com

Theres a pretty cool, almost "triple crown" going down on the Front Range. There'll be three comps coming up. Each will have its own winners but there will also be overall series champs for each division. |

State Games of the West |

This event will be combined with Colorado's Rocky Mountain State Games and will serve as a qualifier for the 2009 State Games of America. |
