Just a quick note that if all you guys want to see a real hottie that climbs, check out this months "Climbing Magazine", and turn to the opening page of Basecamp section. It's our favorite girl, Katie, in Indian Creek. I figured she didn't tell us because we would buy the mag out. |

How did I ever get myself into this? Oh yeah, I had a daydream moment that turned into real life. I was daydreaming about winning a climbing comp after I read the thread on this site requesting we sign up for the Regional Championships at BRC as reporters and competitors. Suddenly, a few days later, I received an e-mail that said I had won a spot. Now what do I do. I think I will hit Thrillseekers everyday between now and then so when I come in next-to-last, I JUST WANT TO BEAT NEAL, I can say that I over-trained! Sounds much better than "I just suck." Also, because I will be taping, and photographing the event, as well as writing it up in realtime, I can also use the excuse that my fingers are worn out, otherwise I could have finished that problem, instead of failing to get both feet off the ground. I hope they have a most creative costume division, because I might be climbing in Daisy Dukes and my leather biker chaps. Hey, if I get to climb 1st, maybe the other climbers will be too ill to climb after seeing me. One can only hope. | |

Just wondering... I went onto Flickr today to see if some of my photos had received any feedback on that site and discovered that all pics are listed under yourclimbing.com with Katies photo. It kind of through me, because I thought that my pics would be posted to Flickr under my name, and am wondering if this is the only way that they could be posted. There is nothing in the photo upload content that says that when our pics are posted there, they won't be under our name. I am not complaining, it just took me by surprise. |
