To Anykineclimb - ? on Photo

Anykine,

Who is the blond Dood with the shades on Coyne's Crack?  He looks like one of my best friends from high school.  I'm asking because he died a year and half ago.  It's hard to tell with his glasses on and I don't know how old that picture is.  The name of the guy I'm talking about is John Phelps.  He and I went up Longs Peak many years ago - on the key route just hiking.

Well, those pics of you and Anykineclimb look pretty cool.

I'm new to the site and I'm really not a 'climber'. I'm more of a 'hiker'. I grew up in Colorado and my Dad took us kids hiking all the time. His goal was to hike all 54 14'ers. That's when I went up Longs Peak - at age 12. Even though I'm not a 'climber' I still love the mountains. It is a thrill looking down on creation!

rock8man - I really enjoy the 14er crowd around Denver and have done about 30 of them myself. It's all about getting outside and being fit. 14er hikers are some of the most fit people I have ever met.
