At the Rendezvous what did you mean when you said "Ive technically never climbed 5.14"
Just wondering. Cool slide show by the way, and very inspirational

Well, the deal is, I onsighted two routes that were rated 5.14a when I did them, but were downrated to 13d shortly after the fact. I'm not sure what grade they're considered to be these days. I think it depends on who climbs them. :)

If the climb was a joy, and a challenge, who cares about the dam numbers!!! /Sorry. Just don't care to compete or go for grades. I love the mountain experience for what it is.

Omaha Beach @ the Motherlode has had some stuff break off since you did it so it's supposedly back up to 5.14a. I don't care what the grade, onsighting any route in the Madness Cave @ the Lode is simply amazing!
