I am just getting back into climbing, but this time around I am bouldering, more so than big wall. My pinch holds are pathetic, what is a good way to strengthen them without going to a rock gym? Thanks kindly!

Improve crush strength, i.e. strangle a stress ball.

Metolius Grip saver. I've used one for about 2 years. They work awesomely, and work both motions of the muscle groups for more balanced gains.
Cheers!

from the 'old school' guy..... alway ALWAYS use those roof rafters and floor joists for some pinch strength training. Just being able to hold yourself on them is a big improvement over the usual slipand fall behavior. Training. Yes, is a daily need.
