Hey Misty, HCR is indeed some of the best sport climbing around. Its in northwest arkansas, near Harrison, about half hour south of there. If you are looking for some good trad routes, try Sam's Throne, about half hr southeast of HCR. There are a number of other good crags in the area but these are the choice ones in my opinion. for more info try www.climbhcr.com. Happy climbing!

Hey Misty, Greers Ferry Lake in Heber Springs has some GREAT deep water solos. The area I go to when I'm there, is just outside the town of Greers Ferry, heading toward Prim on the North side of the lake. Just after the bridge. You can see the bluffs while crossing the bridge, on the right. There is also Sam's Throne, and Mount Magazine, both are on the way to HCR. Try www.arkansasclimbing.com for all the info you need, you could probably find some partners there as well. Nick , the site manager, could probably send you in the right direction.
Cheers!
