Moab hiking/climbing partners

i'm going to be in Moab sometime within the next two weeks. where do i find a climbing partner in Moab? are there any climber hangouts in the town of moab? i want to spend some time climbing, and i also want to take an afternoon/evening to hike to delicate arch.

Welcome to the site emma. I'm not sure of places to find partners but the gear shops in town might be a good start. Hanging around Potash road, where the closest climbing in town is, is another thought. If you go down to Indian Creek and hang out at the Supercrack parking lot it should be pretty easy to join up with people, especially if you have a rack of cams to contribute. I might be in Indian Creek this weekend with a small group of people but I'm not 100% on that yet because of work. Hope you find some partners. :)

i have one cam, a set of nuts and a pink tricam. i just started building my trad rack last week. i'm not that experienced and could probably be put to shame but a lot of utah climbers. i just want to climb that beautiful sandstone! thanks!!! :)
