Hi All,
I was just wondering about Jackson Falls. I have been doing a little research and it looks like it would be difficult to get dogs to the climbing areas. Is this true? How do people feel about dogs there? Are they even allowed?
I would be thankful for any information.
Peace

Dogs are allowed there, but access is a little tricky for them. When you hike in there is a spot that you have use a rope to get down. However, the dogs can follow a trail to left to get down. It is kinda long and I heard it is hard for adults to get down that way.
hope that helps

you dont HAVE to use the rope to get down --- theres a path too, and the walk isnt that far. Its not that hard for adults either...

Thanks so much for all your info. It was a great help. I will be around there the middle and end of Aug. I know, I know not the ideal time. I will be the one with the two black lab mutts.
Thanks again.

Yeah, once one is down the trail, take a left before you get to the knotted rope. Go about a half mile. The area after the second waterfall is actually known as the "dog walk area," and my 3-year-old can make it down there with minimal help from me.
I see dogs there all the time. Just don't let them piss on others' gear : )
