Just found this site through my google reader... Nice to see Miss Katie blogging! I look forward to reading more...

OK, true, we're not totally rock-free, but it does feel like it this time of year...

Uhhh, the Cascades, some smokin' hot volcanic rock and snow action and all that? I'm guessing you are tired of snowy routes up peaks and are looking for more rock climbs as the seasons change. Best of luck.!

Yeah... more like, the peninsula... home to the Olympics, Elwah, and a couple of little crags. We have a boulder here in Kitsap ... *a* boulder!

I'm not yet a peak-bagger, just a rock climber, so I can't wait for the Exit 32 season to open, hopefully in the next few weeks (although, judging by the rain today..........)

Yup, no way to forget Index... that place is fantastic. As is Leavenworth... and Vantage... and Tieton... and Exit 32... and .......

I'm not ragging on Washington, I love my home crags. I just envy the folks who can run out after work and get on real rock, which isn't generally a possibility from the peninsula...
