Hey everybody! I was wondering if anyone has used or at least messed around with one of the newer Alpine Bods with the plastic leg loop buckles. I used to use one for work but we had the ones with the metal buckles. I've been thinking about picking one up but I can't find em with metal leg loop buckles anymore. I'm not too hip on the idea of plastic buckles but I thought I'd ask around in here to see what ya'll thought.

The bod (and alpine bod) have always had plastic buckles for as long as I remember. the leg loops are not load bearing so BD reduced weight by going with ladderlocks instead of metal doubleback buckles. they're perfectly safe.

Yeah, I did a little research and realized that my memory was off. I was getting that harness mixed up with what I have now. Sorry bout that. However, they were different from the quick release buckles. Thanks!
