Life is like a rock climbing problem.
Some holds are important, some are trivial. Footholds are memories, sometimes urging you on, sometimes making you fall. Handholds are the parts of life. The starting hold is birth, when you wonder where this path will take you. You eventually come to a tough decision. Go for the sloper in the middle of the crux, and risk falling, or crux up and have a good change of skipping an unneeded risk. This sloper could be anything life-changing, like a choice to try drugs and risk dying, or lose friends and skip unneeded risks.
