Well first Happy New Year to all!

Ok, now you can all start taking shots about where the RockRatz been hiding out, Ok ready go---------------is that all? :)

Well I and RockRats have been on leave and working some things, recently we have worked a deal to open the wall at the local YMCA, which has been rarely used. Which brings me to my request per the title of this blog, we are in the search of used shoes, if any of you have shoes that have been buried in the closets for years or stuffed in boxes in your garage (WoodChuck) we would love to hear from you!

Well wanted to thank all who came out Saturday night. There was great bouldering going on, some straight up insane slack lining, good food, good beer and just plain good times!!

All of you made my 20 years a memorable experience, and I am so honored that I was able
to share it with a community that I value so much. Again it has been shown that the climbing community is filled with a diverse crowd, but in the same sense a group of people that are the epitome of the phrase “good people”

Wanted to give a thanks to all for this weekend, once again a thought turned into an idea, and then transformed into a gathering! The climbing was awesome! I learned, I grew and had fun with a group of people like none I have ever been a part of before, I thank you all for your passion for the sport, meeting new people, having a good time and most of all just wanting to sit around a campfire and drink beer!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this weekend was a great weekend of climbing with RR his family, CW and Socialbutterfly. Wanted to share a quick item with you all to give kudos to my friend, my mentor and our King this month. As most of you know RR introduced me and my daughter to climbing back in 2004, and has been instructing us and mentoring us in this wonderful sport of ours.

GATHERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AnyKineClimb started a great idea way back when for a gathering at Eleven Mile State Park on July 21-22; Well wanted to remind all you RockRatz and any climbers who want to come out, that the biggest gathering we have had yet is getting closer, so get the sitters, take the day off work, pack up the car and come on out! It promises to be a great time of climbing and waaaaaaaaay to much partying, so if your in see below for more info. “Climb On”
