This last weekend 70 photographers broken up into approx. 18 crews joined forces in Yosemite Valley to create possibly the largest Gigapixel image. At 1pm on May 31, 2008 from predetermined locations on the valley walls and rim we began shooting our given converage segment of the valley panoramic. This being mainly for Greg Stock's geological study of the valley's rockfall hazards. However, imagine high rez route topo for the digital world...zoom and study the crux moves...recreate in you home gym. That could be kewl... August 2008 will be a showing of a 100 foot print in LA.
