Psycedlia was a blast! We had much fun and there were some springs people there so no excuses. The kids climbed pretty strong except they did a comp in fort collins friday night so they were kind of ragged. Two problems had a swinging rope start and two others had a mini tramp start. I will try to post some pics but they are blurry because of the lack of light. Everything was lit with blacklights! Check out thespot.com for pics later this week.
Comp at The Rock |

We just got back from celebrating Kayleigh's second place and Ben's newest first place finish at The Rock. Vegas did well too. Looking forward to seeing some of you all at some ABS comps this winter. Nationals are in Boulder this year and it will be really fun. |
My adventures with the kids |
|
Posted by Hokker on 3/23/2007 I am writing about some of our ongoing (mis)adventures climbing here in beautiful Colorado. We got a compass and rudimentary knowledge on how to use it, a guidebook or two, and the desire to find some cool spots. My 2 children are the climbers I am the official spotter and gear hauler. I am going to try to have fun if possible with two bickering children and I may have to camp at some point. I am not a happy camper! My 9YO son can climb 5.10 in the gym and has climbed the occasional (non reachy) v3 in the gym. My 12yo daughter can climb 5.9 and sometimes 5.10 in the gym and has a hard time keeping up with her little brother. |
