The List

Posted by aaronyeargin on 3/11/2007

Many people have lists of goals they would like to accomplish in their lives. Some include the Great Wall of China and tourist type things. I am working on making a list myself...
One objective is I would like to Climb on every continent.

My question for you, the climbing community, is this :

What areas on each continent are the best, i.e. the top climbs that I just cannot miss if I do get the opportunity/funds to make these trips ?

When I mention the best, I do not mean the hardest, the steepest, the most dangerous, or any of that... I mean the most fun, the most unique, the most scenic, etc..

dreams

So... I just got a co-op in newport news, engineering for a very large company. The sad part- newport news is at the beach, and there is no stone nearby. I will probably join a gym in VA beach, but for now, I've been dreaming about buildering an aircraft carrier.. not going to happen, but it just popped into my head. Also, I went bouldering for a very long time today and there were literally ten other people there after a few hours that I had never met before. As I'm sure you've heard before, the climbing community is one of the best because so many people are nice and willing to chill/climb, with very few bad apples that ruin it for the rest of us. All in all, I'm just saying thank you to climbers, for keeping a good attitude and being personable.
