What in the H#ll is wrong with this G**&^%$MN site???

Hey CW, I really like this site, as it has the best members, in my opinion. Everyone is really laid back & friendly, which is most unusual for the internet. Sites like rockclimbing.com are total garbage, just a bunch of trolls, self proclaimed experts, lame moderators, etc.. I must admit, I have wondered about some of the glitches on yourclimbing.com, wishing they would feed the squirrels that power the servers some CLIF bars or something. Personally, I took all my unworthy pictures & vids (of real climbing) down, to make more room for pictures of carabiners, cold shuts, and such. Rock On, Bro.

Yeah, I've been running into the same problem. Not sure what's up.

Same here, endlessly waiting for access to a page, then 'poof', it's gone or 'access denied' etc. It's a shame, as we had such good quality of chatter and photos exchanged up until late December. Hmmm, maybe 'Ash has fallen into a glitch-hole too, and thus we never hear from here anymore...And me with a broken leg and too much time on my hands to sit here and now be frustrated. AAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!!!

I hear you about the slow activity on this site since December. I don’t cruise the pics very much mainly because my web time is 30 min before work or between day job and second job or working out.

Well, it is better than one or the climbing schools message boards. They are lucky to get a post once every 6 months. At least here some one will post something that gets a chuckle.

CW...you still comin' to Fredericksburg this year?

I'm going to tryand make it over there, it depends on the Mrs. We are expecting our little Rockrat sometime this week. Oh yeah, those of you who get Urban Climber Mag. According to Rockratz and Pludos, Check out the letter of the month in the latest issue. Apparently someone from this site won a new pair of shoes for their "geezerhood".

Huh? You said geezerhood so I perked up here. Anyway, I can't get Urban Climber cuz I live in the SUBURBS. Haaa!! get it?? suburban,,,,, whatever.
Speaking of Geezers, anyone here ever subscribe to, or hear of a 2 yr old magazine called 'Geezerjock'? They feature the old athlete, mostly runners, swimmers, bikers, etc. It was a great name for a magazine, yet they gave in this year, became PC and changed name to 'Masters Athlete. Now that sucks. Tons of complaint letters sent asking where their sense of humor was. I agree. Think I should start a mag' or web called 'GeezerClimbs', with just those nice 5.3 to 5.6 routes featured. Gray hair, pale skin and vericose veins a requirement for posting photos.

Uummm...I don't have any hair, although I am amply supplied with white skin and vericose veins on my feet.

I'm sorry about the errors! Over here, we're working very hard to clean up the site, and make it even MORE exciting than it was last year. We've already moved the site over to a significantly faster server, so hopefully you've noticed an overall increase in speed!
That said, during the transition, it is taking us and our developers a little time to get a full understanding of the old code.
Please, anytime ANY of you experience site problems, send a note describing it over to http://www.yourclimbing.com/contact - even if I don't respond right away, I do get these emails, and forward them directly to our tech team.
The more glitches you help us find, the faster we can get rid of them!

'More exciting than it was last year?' he says? I thought we had a great time, lots of fun, tons of interaction and new friends galore. Where are they now? Who's posting up as often as we did then? I'm losing interest real fast and it seems most of the chat-gang of photo posters are also finding something else to do. Here it is June 2nd, and a new front page look for the site is up. I feel like an outsider, that's for sure.

Hey WC, I'm still here, as well as CT, and the Bum is back. I know, I know, it seems we lost BA, but maybe we'll have some NEW CONTESTS, (hint, hint) to go with the new look. What say you, iDrew???
