br> ROCK TALK: South African Essence
Unfortunately. We say "unfortunately" because while Katie and Lisa are off bouldering the magical problems of Rocklands, they're also far, far away from a reliable internet connection, meaning we're left with some blogs written before she left and our imaginations. Katie did manage to check in, however, and her description of her time in South Africa so far is nothing short of unbelievable. Check out Katie's unundus in S.A. (as well as what "unundus" means) in her blog, Rock Talk. br> br> NOOBS: Who's new?(Psst! Post your profile pictures! We can't include you in Noobs if you don't have one.) BLOGS OF ROCK: One nation, under blogIt's the YourClimbing.com user blogs - not on any best-seller's list, but that's only because they're totally free. This week's blog wrap is headlined by our community's dynamic duo, badash and Human Crashpad. They both returned from a grueling and humid Youth Nationals competition with great writing and images - be sure to get the full scoop! While those two were dehydrating in Michigan, James Lucas was stuck somewhere in Nevada but waxing on about being flustered in Rifle. Simonty shared his thanks to everyone for the inspiration, and Pludos shared a little Colorado Springs Red Rocks Open Space update. How does a climber survive Florida? Just ask Captain Static. That's just some beta of the blogging going down on YourClimbing - get the full route! Copyright 2007, Enthusiast Group LLC |

Human Crashpad says:
Now I see why they call you the "enthusiast" group. Like someone wrote on the wall at nationals, "Energizer Bunnys don't run on just batteries." It takes some undying optimism as well.
