It was once said: Work is for those who live above their means.
Ok so I just made that up-But true it rings nonetheless-I sit here scratching the ears of the only constant in my crazed-wackedout life, as of recently anyway, and I ponder why it is that I put myself through this.
I don't have to work 16+hours a day to survive. Truly I barely have to work 2 or 3 a day. So why do I sacrifice my mental health and physical well being to do so?
If you're looking for an answer to that now I must admit: I don't know.
But what I do know is this: Life for GB is the best it's ever been. I found an old mantra from my past: "If today was tomorrow, would you still complain like it was yesterday?"
But for now I make my triumphant, albeit a short, return to my favorite site. How is everyone? Lately I've been away from the 'puter, doing my Katie impression, just without the gallbladders.
I will be returning to Colorado on September 17, hopefully. And I did get some climbing in this past weekend and crewed a boat on my off day. So I am actually happy.
Have a great week you all. Hopefully I'll see more of you guys in the coming days.
Namaste
