So I heard about this film,The Great Global Warming Swindle, on the radio yesturday and then watched the film last night. It's about 70 minutes long but I think worth watching. Check it out and give me your input.

Great parodies, observation of data without incorporating reliable scientific theory (see wikipedia re: the troposphere. It gets colder as you rise through that layer of the atmosphere because the air get less and less dense...aka 'adiabatic' cooling, like the expansion cycle in your air conditioner). The whole discussion of the 'troposphere' started with a hypothesis, so the conclusion needed more work...
Anyways, I made it through only 12-15 minutes and laughed. Hard.
Yes climate changes. However, I think the key is learning how to modify our behavior such that we can survive through the worst nature can dish out. If we can actively modify our behavior to assure a milder, more consistent climate (or 4 predictable seasons, such that rock and ice are available in one area), then what are we waiting for? What if global warming starts producing other phenomena that are fun to play in?
My two cents...

Watch out or Al Gore is gonna get after you for spreading bad vibes'.

Al Gore Got a Honorary Degree form a Canadian University...what's up with that.

You know the number of honorary degrees that are given out to politicians and other idiots these days just because they did something nice?./ It's disgusting.

I did some more research on this and it looks like the film was using some out dated charts and was trying to past off theory as fact with some of the other stuff. I know I'm probably getting into this subject a little late, but I finally got tired of hearing about Gore and his film and had to find out what, if any, opposition was out there on the subject. I'm not done looking into the "man made Global Warming" issue. I'm still not convinced that we are entirely to blame.

I think we have a lot to do with it. Some I belive is natural we're just increasing. My bro is a climatologist...we get removed from resturants with our debates on the subject.
climbingtrash says:
So where does your Bro stand on the issue?

Bex says:
He believes that t an extent Anthropogenic activities have decreased the ozone layer, and increased the earth tempurature. However he studies warming and cooling tempuratures over millions of years (he spenda a lot of time in the artic and studying green house gases.), he also believes to an extent that we are in a natural occuring warming trend. so Basically he believes there is not one single issue resulting in Global Climate Change, but several. But he does blame people for a large part of the situation.

sorry my PC glitched and duplicate my last remark
