Thanks Steve, Neil, and those at yourclimbing.com

In this season of giving, I would like to give thanks to the visionaries at yourclimbing.com for having the insight to bring such a wide audience of people from many walks of life, age groups, and financial backgrounds together. We are all bound by a love of climbing, that has found an outlet here on these pages. Many of us have found new friends and climbing partners on these pages, we have shared stories of heartbreak, joy, sends, projects, wishes, and areas to climb. However, what we have shared most is a feeling; a feeling of belonging to a community of like-minded people who "get us". I want Steve and Co. to feel that they haven't failed with this site, but have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. That have brought us together, and bonded us as a family, and their influence will be felt in many of our lives, for the rest of our lives. There is not anything richer they could have given to us, and while I and most of us are sad to see this site change hands, I'm sure I speak for us who are committed members of this site when I wish them the best in all the rest of their endeavors, and hope they succeed as well as they did with this one. I would love for them to keep in touch through this site, and let us know how they are doing, and hopefully one day I will see them in person, so I can convey my thankfulness for what they achieved in my and many of our lives.

With Heartfelt Thanks!

Cheers!

My exact same feelings here. I've been rejuvenated into my climbing once again. Found reasons to go try 2 new areas several times, all due to encouragment and folks here at YC. Look forward to however we can help to keep things running along here in the future. Everyone have a wonderful holiday season, and I promise not to post dumbass stuff over the next 3 weeks.

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I feel like YourClimbing was a success in many ways -- just not financially. I'm glad we'll be able to keep it going, and I'm hoping that its new owner/publisher will be able to grow the community.

I'm holding off on announcing the deal until it's complete -- don't want to jinx it. But I'll post the news as soon as I can.

Eagerly awaiting the decision. Just so we don't change the name to GeezerClimber.com or something like that.  Have a great holiday ahead.

You are probably the #1 most recognizable person from the site, and with a great name to shout out too. In all its variations. Badaaaaashhh! BadNaassh! Aaaaaaaasssshhhh!!! N'Ashley! BadRaaaaaaash! BadRad-aashh! and on it goes...
So maybe next summer I'll finally run into you at the Red one day. You climbing, me eating another pizza, that is.

I figured if I just made up a few variations, one would be something you've heard shouted out at you one day. Ya, I hope to make 2 trips at least down there again this summer,IF my gas stingy vehicle will not rust apart before then.
