Thanks for a Great Weekend CSRR

I just want to write a personal thanks to everyone that went to the elevenmile gathering this past weekend. I had an absolute blast. The climbing there is fantastic and honestly can't wait to go back again. Of course the freakish 2-hour hail storm didn't help matters back at camp, but me, RRhuney, and RR had fun sticking our fingers at the top of the tent seeing who would get hit first with hail.

And before anyone can say anything, I would just like to disclose that I did indeed go back to my house in CS for the night. Yes, I know flog me all you want, but when you don't put up your rainfly (yes my fault) and all your gear that is supposed to keep you warm at night is soaking wet, and you have no socks and now become limited to the hard end of the back of your car, I chose to go home. It was a executive decision, and damnit, I know I slept better than all of yall out there, so THERE!!! :)

Now, that I have said my piece I will be uploading the group shots tonight. And if anyone wants to manipulate the photos to where I am not in them because I didn't stay the night, just remember I was trained on photoshop for the past five years and I have the originals and I do have some incriminating photos of socialbutterfly, RR, RRhuney, and more to be named later. AND, I do know where some of you live. haha.

I also want to give a special thanks to Anykineclimb for showing me how to take down anchors. He was very patient and a good teacher. Thanks a bunch.

Lastly, my friends Erica and Steve and my boyfriend Steve, all had a great time as well. Thanks for making them feel comfortable. Cheers to everyone for making it a successful gathering, I hope there are many more.

Erica

I had a great time as well Erica, for us it started on friday. Me, RRHuney, Pludos and AKC climbed the Guide 3 pitch route 5.6 i believe all trad. It was a first for Pludos and RRHuney with made it a great day for me to beable to do that with them. Saturday was just awsome it was the first time i didnt have to set up routes for anyone. Pludos and RRHuney went and did there own routes while me and vegas got to do some Onsights 5.9 and a debatable 5.8-5.9 depending on how tall you are :). The hail storm was bad but i think every one was having so much fun it didnt really matter. Saturday night was just an all out party i had so much fun as i think everyone else did as well. Over all it was great to do another sucessful Gathering and we met alot of new really nice people (even though they were from RC.Com) hehe. I had a great time it was another sucessful trip for all of us i hope. I would like to make it an Annual event. I guess next on our plate is The Bouldering Chrisining. Its almost finished. Also we have the Red Rock Climbing Comp on 25 August i would like to get a large showing of CSRR there i think i would be a lot of fun...

Thank you Lisa. I have no regrets about my decision to sleep in a nice comfy bed, while you all suffered miserably on hard ground, in the cold. And if you weren't suffering, it was because you were drunk, and therefore suffered the next day. So all in all, I suffered none and therefore am happy. :) you guys are great.

I protest! The air mattress was very comfortable, and I was quite cozy and warm in our little tent, and not just because I was drunk. AND, I woke up Sunday without a hangover at all....without some memory of the night before, granted, but still! I had a great time, and am NOT jealous that you slept at home!

Someday I hope to be the person my dogs think I am!

I woke up on a flat air mattress, cold and wet. I must say i was not 100% either. I really wanted to go climbing again but the time line just wouldnt allow. That might have been a good thing :O
