Groups: Colorado Springs RockRatz, The Traveling Climber
So I've come to the conclusion that after eating two meals at Miguels then coming home and ordering Dominos is NOT a good idea. I hate dissapointment.
It's ok though. Yesterday was one of the best times climbing I've had in quite some time. Not just because I actually had time off work to make the two hour drive without worry, which did have alot to do with it.
My friend Jason brought a friend of his, Scott, who had never been to the Red, been climbing, or had an Ale8.
I was able to share my love for climbing and sparked a passion in another. He's already talking about when we're going again and what gear he needs to buy.
It was a good Day

The words of every climber who visits there I trust. I too, after many years absence, felt like a newbee' to the Red this summer. There's something about a hard day of new routes followed by a pizza at Miguels that does the trick. All washed down with several cold Ale8's. ( my new secret recipe for the 8's is to first take a big swig, then add a double shot of cherry vodka into the bottle. )

Well dammit woody! It's not secret anymore is it? I take it you made the homage to the Beer Trailer eh?

Actually I came well supplied and had plenty in the car on ice for the 5 days with no refills across county lines needed. (I limited myself to no more than 5 a day) But I did get a load of stuff there back during the July trip.
gonzobeer says:
So you transported booze across state lines? We call that bootlegging in these parts!

that's if it is not for personal consumption! I personally consumed every drop. Doesn't eveyone down in Kentucky have a 12pak along side them in their pick up truck?
