WELL, Lisa and I leave at the ass-crack of dawn tomorrow for South Africa. Today I'm frantically running around Moab in the 105 degree heat trying to finish getting ready. I'm telling you though, the hardest part of packing: deciding what clothes to bring. It's tragic, really, when one must limit oneself to two pairs of pants, two shirts, etc. so as to 'travel light.' I stayed up far too late last night agonizing the decision. Completely materialistic, I realize, but what can I say? I'm attached to my clothes.
ANYWAY, that is neither here nor there. Communique while I'm in S. Africa may be a bit sparse, just to warn you guys, but for sure I will do my best to be in touch whenever possible. And when I get back I will definitely have MUCH to share, so be sure to tune in after July 26 for the full trip report.
Ciao!

PS, heard yesterday that you are coming to the RRGCC Rocktoberfest / Petzl RocTrip in Red River Gorge this October. Looking forward to seeing you again then.
