What color?? Is it a dry rope, and like 70 meters or longer so you can lower off those hideously long routes at the Red? Got a nice rope bag for it? Please tell me it's in TIE DYE colors!!!
Merry Christmas,Ash'.

Its purple, dry, seems longer than 70 meters... and... i still dont know what kind it is, haha. He didnt save the tag or anything... i think it is sterling, but i am not positive. it was realllly expensive.
woodchuck07 says:
Yikes! 70 meters, dry rope..Yes, expensive is probably correct. Even at backcountry.com and other good sources, it was hard to find a good rope anymore under 200 bucks. You got a great brother there. Is this your first rope to 'own' as your own? Mine was a blue 10.5 Edelweiss, then an 11mm Mammut bicolor that was orange and purple. Was my ID, my calling card when on a route back then.
badash says:
okay, my bad, i found the specs... its not 70 meters... my bad! here they are:
-sterling
-10.1 mm pro
-60 meter
its cool. and yeah its my first rope.

ooh nice! a lightweight 10.1 will be just perfect for your hot sporty leads. And purple is a great color for you. Deep Purple, or bright fluorescent kind of purple? Solid? No stripes in it? Tie yourself up with it and post up a neat self photo under 'equipment', ok?
