Lucky Escapes

Have any of you guys had lucky escapes near misses?
Just been out with someone on the UK version of Yourclimbing.com to a sport climbing venue near me there arent many about except well hard polished ones but this one is a beaut lovely routes and rock except for the fact that while i was tying on there was a massive bang followed by a 40 cm square chunk of rock landing 2 feet away from my foot it split in half and just caught my ankle.Talk about lucky havent a clue what happened dont think it came off the rockface must have been a sheep or something knocked it from up top somewhere. I should have taken that as a bad omen cause I still did the route was very nice a good test apart from the end being horrible you had to scramble over the top with no handholds just loose grass to the left of the lower off as the rock below the lower off was totally blank.& it was set back from the main face who knows why it didnt finish on the main face as it would have made the route super.
Oh well im still here or I could have won a award for the shortest yourclimbing membership ever.
