I am seeing a light at the end of this tunnel I call nursing school. I am starting to get more excited about the idea I am almost done with school. Now, I can start where I left off with my obession with climbing. I get to climb indoors and hone my skills and strength, it's cool. But we all know how it is to climb indoors, it's usually the same routes time after time, boring sometimes. It's hard, b/c the guys that set are routes are few, one at this present time. Love him to death and he sets some killer routes, but he's only one man.

I am jonesin to get out. So I am sooo looking forward to getting out in April. I hope my husband comes with me, I'd love to camp, it's different everytime. Like climbing, there is always something new to experiece.

We're so lucky/fortunate to be able to go to such beautiful places and what makes it more interesting is the people I meet. It adds a whole new demension to my experiences. Looking forward to meeting more of you like-minded climbers and we can have more experiences to share.

Until next time....climb on

I feel your pain", yeah we all do I think. Homebound and jonsin' for some rock and ice. Gym climbs are OK, but agree that many guys just load the place up with killer routes. They don't even leave space for a few jugs so us geezers can just pump out laps to get stretched out and in shape. I'm not competitive at all, so the gym and bouldering scene are not for me. Grew up a peak bagger, and then moved to technical routes on rock. Enjoy the journey, not out to kill the world with the next 5.14d.

Yeah well, I'm not really competative either. Sometimes you enjoy some friendly horseplay, but I'm not out to kill my self either. I like technical routes too, I like the challenge and the fact it really makes you think about how to get your ass up there; rather than just muscle your way up.

Off to work for a few hours, then back to school stuff the rest of the week, I hope to make it to the gym, 2morrow. I've got some projects I've been making progress on and I hope to finally send them.

Cheers

Rosie
