Well, my time here in Canmore is winding down to a close as we continue our routine of Lake Louise/Acephale/any of the multitude of crags in the area.

Yesterday we took a much needed rest day and lounged about at Quarry Lake soaking up the sun and (hopefully) getting a bit of a pre-Mallorca tan. Quite heavenly, it was, but I have to admit I'm excited to get back to Moab for a few days of relaxation at home before hitting the road again.

Anyway, we're heading back to Lake Louise today. I really love it back there. The rock and the lake are so beautiful. The climbing is really challenging for me -- lots of horizontal bands with long stretches in between. It's really great to be challenged in such a way and to discover with each passing day that my lock-off power is getting a little bit better.
