Hey everyone,

Just FYI, the Colorado Springs RockRats are hosting and Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing. If you know new people that want to give Outdoor Climbing a try please let them know about this great offer. You all know my goal is to show people our sport but to make sure they get in to it safely, too many times we have seen accidents  from inexperience so we are offering this class to new climbers so they see the "SAFE" way to get started in the sport, I feel the less accidents we have the more places will stay open for climbers old and new. We will be offering this class alot over the summer so keep checking the Website at www.coloradospringsrockratz.com

I need to get outside more.....sounds great.....limping across the room now on the bad leg, trying to load the pack in the car.... Failure.

WC i would love to climb with you , but this is a Beginner class. Although you may need it once you finally heal up. Im actually doing this to do my part to prevent any more accidents here in Colorado Springs. Too many people are getting in to the sport with out any knowledge. There is risk in Rock Climbing but you can minimize it by being taught/shown the safe way to get started.

I hear 'ya buddy. Too many indoor toprope or auto-belay 'experts' are out there trying to figure out how to tie a water knot, and then set some runners around a boulder for an anchor. Not good. Good luck passing on some responsibility to any takers.
